On the threshold of a transformation.
For years, Element Three has helped CoreLogic prepare for their annual industry conferences. But this time was different. Their mortgage team was ready to unveil a new vision of transforming the mortgage experience at the CoreLogic EPIQ conference; they wanted us to create a video that could set the stage for a panel of industry experts who would discuss this coming transformation.
The pressure was on, as CoreLogic’s annual EPIQ conference is truly breathtaking. Hosted at five-diamond Monarch Search Resort in Dana Point, California, an NBA legend would deliver the keynote speech while Rock and Roll hall of famers were the evening’s entertainment.
Trust.
In working with CoreLogic stakeholders, we recognized that everything in the entire mortgage process revolves around trust. It’s what mortgage companies and underwriters work so hard to gain. And find so easy to lose.
That theme of trust would carry through the video and supporting creative. Once we nailed down the concept, we needed to write a killer script. Then we had to quickly locate the right venue—and find a dynamic actor who could bring it all to life.

Turning “what ifs” into what’s now.
We crafted our script to be inspirational. It acknowledged industry shortcomings at a high level while creating excitement about the future: “All we have to do is turn the ‘what ifs’ into what’s now. Welcome to the art of the possible.”
To deliver the video on time, we really had to hustle. Our video producer quickly locked down our first-choice talent, location, and production crews. We also scheduled daily check-ins with client stakeholders to keep the project moving on schedule.
Taking center stage.
Our talent was a dynamic actor who brought a strong understanding of the script and its purpose. We also located the perfect prop to help him convey the energy we needed—a gorgeous chair in which he could sit, and from which he could stand up as he described the client’s vision.
When all was said and done, CoreLogic stakeholders were thrilled with the video. And it generated all kinds of buzz among the mortgage executives who attended the conference.

Not only does great work grab attention, but it spurs new work and initiatives, too. After launching the video, we were able to extend the message beyond the mortgage industry and help the insurance business unit at CoreLogic develop a new conference experience, vision, and theme line—Powering Trusted Property Momentstm™—that the CoreLogic team continues to use.
In the end, the EPIQ video went further than simply engaging an audience—it empowered CoreLogic to continue casting their bold story of transformation throughout their entire business in new, exciting ways.
