Santiago Jaramillo has heard plenty of skeptics say that mobile marketing is just a fad, but he’s not buying it. The Colombian-born entrepreneur has seen his mobile app company Bluebridge skyrocket from its humble beginnings since he founded it at the age of 22.Consider these two statistics:

  • By 2020, there will be 2 billion smartphones in the world
  • 86% of time on smartphones is spent on apps

“For the first time in history, consumers now spend more time on their smartphones than they do watching TV,” Santiago says. “Mobile isn’t going away – it’s growing – and the companies that succeed are the ones that will adapt and separate themselves from the competition through mobile innovation.”

On June 22, Santiago will speak at Go Inbound Marketing 2015 about how companies can delight their customers with mobile tools that:

  • Generate revenue through mobile transactions
  • Promote thought leadership through targeted push messages and pulling in existing content marketing channels like blogs and videos
  • Create engagement among event attendees
  • Engage employees and help them keep up with company information

You’ll walk away with a better understanding of mobile’s impact on the future of content marketing, as well as a plan for getting started with killer apps. Santiago’s presentation will be just one highlight of a full-day exploration of “Killing the Competition with Science + Story.”

TranscriptionSantiago Jaramillo: Hi, my name is Santiago Jaramillo and I’m the CEO and founder of mobile app platform Bluebridge. Attending Go Inbound is tremendous value as I believe that organizations that truly learn how to do digital marketing right both on the narrative and story side as well as the science and data side are best poised to win in the digital and mobile age that we live in today.Having grown Bluebridge right here in Indianapolis, and having worked with hundreds of organizations around the world on their mobile strategy, I’m thrilled to be talking about mobile because I truly believe that mobile is one of the biggest opportunities that organizations and brands have to differentiate from their competitors and truly drive market-leading performances.Join me Monday, June 22 at the Go Inbound conference for my talk “Killing the Competition with Mobile.” You’ll learn how a mobile app can help you generate revenue, engage your employees, manage your events and promote your thought leadership. I hope to see you there!
