Halley grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, but was born a Steelers and Penguins fan in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After high school, she headed north to DePauw University.
In college, Halley wanted to be a lawyer. But after interning at an communications agency in London during her junior year, she was convinced that the marketing world was more her style.
“I fell in love with the mixture of creativity and innovation within marketing that I had no idea existed before my internship.”
And that was that. Halley got back to the US, switched her major, and graduated from Depauw with a double major in Communications and Conflict Studies. After college, Halley joined Element Three as a Communications Specialist through the Orr Fellowship.
I believe in asking questions, being kind, and thinking ahead. There are other important things too, but if you do those three things well, you’re off to a good start.
Not only does Halley help E3 President, Tiffany Sauder with all communication, she also keeps everyone positive.
“My glass is always more than half full. It’s a mantra that’s allowed me to tackle even the toughest challenges.”
Outside the office, Halley enjoys sailing, and she hopes one day to sail around the world.
